Jude Bellingham scores first Real Madrid goal

Manchester United suffered a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid in their pre-season friendly in Houston on Saturday. Jude Bellingham, who joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund this summer, scored his first goal for his new club in the first half, while Marco Asensio added a second after the break.
Manchester United started the game brightly and had the first chance of the match when Marcus Rashford fired wide from a good position. However, Real Madrid took the lead in the 23rd minute when Bellingham headed home a cross from Vinicius Junior.
Manchester United pushed for an equaliser but were unable to create any clear-cut chances. Real Madrid doubled their lead in the 57th minute when Asensio finished off a move involving Karim Benzema and Luka Modric.
Manchester United had a few chances to get back into the game late on, but David De Gea made a number of good saves to deny them.
The defeat was Manchester United's first of the pre-season and will be a concern for manager Erik ten Hag. Real Madrid, on the other hand, will be pleased with their performance and will be confident of a successful season ahead.
Manchester United will next face Barcelona in a pre-season friendly on Tuesday, while Real Madrid will play Juventus on Saturday.
