Four earthquakes, the strongest being of magnitude 6.6, shook Nepal on Tuesday evening, causing panic and shaking buildings.

The first quake, measuring 5.8, struck at 10:17 p.m. (IST), with its epicenter in Myitkyina, Kachin, Myanmar. The second quake, measuring 5.9, struck just seven minutes later, with its epicenter in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India.

Tremors from the earthquakes were felt across northern India, including in the Delhi-NCR region. Many people reported feeling their buildings shake and experiencing panic.

The NCS is providing earthquake data and seismicity reports for specific regions, including the latest earthquakes in Nepal. The agency urges people to stay alert and follow safety precautions in the event of an earthquake.

According to the latest reports, there have been no reports of major damage or injuries from the earthquakes in Nepal. However, the situation is still developing, and the NCS is monitoring the situation closely.
