Colby Parkinson Fantasy Outlook
Depth at Tight End
Colby Parkinson is currently the number-two tight end on the Seattle Seahawks, behind Will Dissly. Dissly is a solid player, but he has had some injury problems in the past. If Dissly were to get injured again, Parkinson would be the next man up, providing him with a goldmine of opportunities in the passing game.
Drew Lock's Potential
Another factor to consider is the potential of Drew Lock, the Seahawks' new starting quarterback. Lock has a big arm and loves to throw the ball deep. This could benefit Parkinson, as he is a big target with great hands. If Lock can develop into a solid quarterback, Parkinson could be a valuable weapon in the Seahawks' offense.
Rookie Breakout Candidates
Parkinson is one of several rookie tight ends who have a chance to make a big impact in 2023. Other players to watch include Trey McBride of the Arizona Cardinals, Cade Otton of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Daniel Bellinger of the New York Giants. These players all have the potential to be productive fantasy contributors, but Parkinson may have the best opportunity of all of them.
